As an atheist – and former Christian homeschooling parent – I blog (mostly) about the social-political aspects of religious fundamentalism, especially as it impacts the education and socialization of children.

I think the real text that would accompany that photo would be:
“Dude…check it out!! I got these biotches so freakin’ brainwashed!!1! They actually think that those sacks honor them and make them feel cherished and godly…lulz…women, roflmao!1!!”
/facepalm

…wow.
Of course, I don’t know: If you live in that culture you may learn to distinguish people in photos with less information… the way my mother could figure out where I was on a Cross Country course by looking for my stride when I was too far away to identify by my facial features.
“Tall, twig-like runner with terrible form? That’s my son!” [laughing]

Am I the only one curious about the audacity of that one bright white shoe poking out from under one of the sacked lumps? What’s that all about?
And also, why isn’t there some prohibition about taking the pictures in public? This guy isn’t a tourist, right, but of the same culture?
Hmmm. Could have been the klan there, with the coverage and all. I mean, that’s what it reminded me of. Though I doubt these women spend a lot of time terrorizing black folks, Catholics, and Jews.
