Apparently, Republicans have a new website, America Speaking Out. Rather than describe its purpose, I’ll let PZ Myers from Pharyngula do the honors. :)
They created an open web site to formulate an agenda for the future of the Republican party, where anyone could make any proposal, and everyone could vote on it. No filters, except against profanity. The doors are open, y’all are invited to come on in and tell the Republicans what to do.
The results are predictable: complete chaos. Teabaggers are raving, liberal saboteurs are inserting all kinds of crazy suggestions, and you can’t tell them apart.
So, what are you waiting for? Pour yourself a glass of wine and go have some fun!

Too bad the whole thing is shut down now because so many Americans are speaking out (?) .
DS and I had some wonderful suggestions.
He is concerned that deli meats are not always easy to remove from the packaging. He is 17 and hungry all the time. This is his emergency. :)
My emergency is coming to grips with my little baby being 17! :)
Hi Nance,
Maybe it was down for a short time (?), but the site is up now. My proof? Where else could I have just read,
So, Tea Party patriot or liberal sabateur? What do you think?
And pls tell your DS that I’m totally with him on the deli meats, especially when they’re packaged in ziplock bags that don’t zip. Is he planning an uprising? …cuz I’m looking for work, so I don’t get rented out. :)
Speaking of deli meats, I think that it should be easier to get them sliced thin and that I should have only to say so to get the deli counter people to do what I want. I do not want to tell you what number to set the slicer on because all slicers are different, and the little picture guide that shows you the thickness of the cut by number is always inaccurate. Also, when my deli meat is cut and placed in the zip top bag, please press the air out before handing it to. I don’t need a tiny pillow with a lump of meat in the middle in my shopping cart.
I just searched the ASO site after reading your comments, Sam.
Maybe it’s really an unvoiced frustration with deli meats that is fueling much of the political unrest we’re seeing.
Wow, I had no idea this was such an urgent issue. Once it cools down, we may organize an uprising. Full employment now! Or when it’s not so hot. :)
Aww, Lynn, I didn’t have time to check it out. I had my life to live. ;)
