Good grief. I just discovered this photograph, but absent context or a link. Anybody recognize it?
Is there a Catholic ceremony or practice, during which a father offers up a son (both dressed as sheep) to the Pope for a passionate kiss? Feel free to enlighten me.

I stopped looking for an explanation, too. :) I wouldn’t mind reading an explanation for why this picture didn’t garner any media attention, however. :(
