It has been nearly two weeks and still our lawn reindeer are unmolested.
Usually, by now, the boys in the neighborhood have snuck into our yard, under cover of darkness, and worked their magic, re-positioning our lawn deer into naughty arrangements. This year, however, there’s been nary a peep. I hope the boys haven’t fallen ill or – goodness forgive – out-grown the tradition. I’m feeling strangely nostalgic for the way it was: lighted trees, wrapped packages, classic movies, mulled wine, reindeer porn… :(
Reindeer porn. I’ll never look at another lawn ornament the same.
Well, the one in the background looks like he’s just asking for it, anyway.
You could always put them in that position and blame the boys!!

The boys would definitely come back if they knew what I just learned.
According to one source, both male and female reindeer have antlers, but males drop theirs each year in late November. In other words, if our reindeer still have antlers in mid-late December, what does that tell you? Sounds like we’ve got two girls. So, all these years, we’ve been displaying lesbian reindeer porn,… which may very well be against local ordinances.
I hope my neighbors don’t find out!

So, are you saying that you should put them back in ‘the closet’ until next year?
I’m ashamed to say that, normally, we dismember, stack and store them on a shelf in the garage; actually, a cozy, private closet would be a step up for them. Then, next year, when they come out again, they can decide if they’re also ready to come “out-out.” :)
