When I wrote this post, I was really thinking about 40-something women (“cougars”) romanticizing and fantasizing about teenage boys. I mean, I like Adam Lambert, too — but, not in a creepy like-like way ;)

Well, quite.

And, if we just look at the movies themselves, I have a hard time getting past the fact that the teen vampire “hunk” looks like a junkie who hasn’t bathed since the previous century. Please don’t tell me it’s some kind of return to “heroin chic.” That was skany enough the first time around.

Indeed! I cannot, for the life of me, fathom why grown women swoon over the abysmally written Twilight saga.

Even if the books were written well, I wouldn’t understand what’s so compelling about teenage vampire love. :? Or, teenage drama of any kind, actually. Does that make me un-hip?

DD and friend report that this movie “sucked ass a little less than the first Twilight movie.”

Movie reviewer is probably not a career possibility there. . . :)
