I hadn’t planned to rub it in about the sweater and the oil paints and how I was right and The Girl was wrong but… Molly is asking.

About me
As an atheist – and former Christian homeschooling parent – I blog (mostly) about the social-political aspects of religious fundamentalism, especially as it impacts the education and socialization of children.

Oh, dear. Alas. I am so sorry about the sweater. But doesn’t it feel good to know you were right, in kind of a mean not-so-nice way? (I had a similar incident with my sweetie making some garlic bread tonight… heh heh.)
Well, on the bright side, now we have an officially-designated “sweater to wear to oil painting.”
Oh, yeah. PLUS, I was right. The other bright side :) Usually she and I take turns being right, so it must’ve been my turn this time.
Congrads on the garlic bread, by the way :D But,… can anyone ever be wrong when garlic bread is concerned??
Yes. It is wrong to put garlic bread under the broiler when you have been specifically, repeatedly and even LOUDLY warned that the broiler in our newish POS stove is a complete POS and will turn anything placed under it to charcoal.
Watching the person who has received this warning pulling the bread out 30 seconds later and discovering it has been turned to charcoal… well, yeah, that’s just schadenfodder.
It’s nice to have a painting sweater. Maybe I’d paint if I had one. Or even just a painting hat.
