Anybody want to do a Halloween Meme??

Here are the questions:

Are you scared of bats?
No. I have even installed a bat house in the backyard, but haven’t had any luck (that I know of) attracting bats.

When you were a kid, did you go out on Mischief Night? 
What’s Mischief Night? If it’s the same as Halloween night, yes. Every year until I was a teen.

What is your favorite trick-or-treat candy?
M&M’s.

Have you ever seen a ghost?
No. There’s no such thing as ghosts  :)

The most memorable costume you ever wore?
A die. Just like these boys pictured below – except with skinned knees and tears streaming down my face after a neighborhood bully stole my candy bag. Clumsily, imprisoned in my box, I tried to chase after him, only to trip and wipe out on the asphalt.  

Do you carve a happy or a scary face on the pumpkin?
I try for a scary face though, because my carving skills are pretty sad, it becomes what it becomes.

Do you dress up on Halloween? 
I usually never get around to it. Plus, I’m usually alone at home handing out candy while everyone else is out trick-o-treating, so I’m less motivated to dress up.

Any cooking or baking you do for Halloween?
No. There’s always so much candy around at this time, the thought of baking more food to eat isn’t appealing to me — at all.

Have you ever been to The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland or Disneyworld?
Yes. Not worth the wait in line, in my humble opinion.

Any element of the season you don’t like?
Spending money on costumes that the kids will wear for one night.

What is your favorite scary movie?
I don’t have a favorite, but I have a least favorite: Seven (Pitt, Freeman, Paltrow). Hate it, hate it, hate it.

Do you cook the pumpkin seeds from your carved jack-o-lanterns?
The Girl does. She fries them in butter and cinnamon/sugar.  

Are you intrigued with vampires?
My favorite show as a child was Dark Shadows, but vampires seem rather silly to me now.
