Hey, we should SO do this!
Just checkin’ in on the some of the current controversies brewing in the homeschooling not-a-community and discovered this!
From what I can tell, following a challenge she issued on her blog, this author has posted photographs of the way she dresses, along with links to pictures submitted by her readers. I think the point was to showcase – and promote – feminine and modest manner of dress among everyday homemakers (homeschoolmakers?). But, nevermind that. I think it’s a terrific idea! WE should do it, don’t you think?
(Pause)
Okay,… I’ll go first.

So, here’s me when I first wake up.

And, here… well, I forget what I was doing here.

Here’s George Clooney giving me a pedicure!
What’s that?
Okay, okay. So, it’s NOT really me in these pictures. Sheesh.
Your turn! :)

OMG! WHERE do you find this stuff?! I’m laughing my head off. I might actually own a dress, but I’m not sure.
oh, those ladies against feminism are such cards. And who would ever have thought that they dress unattractively? I guess I’m never too old to learn.
If this is your early entry for the ODonnellWeb Hot Homeschooler award, consider it noted :)
I promised myself that if I couldn’t say anything nice, I wouldn’t say it.
Can you read my mind, though?
Ah, hell, I’m not good at promises:
I think I’m going to put some sexy black ankle boots and white socks on my Christmas list.
Woo-hoo, I’ll be sure to have a quiverfull or is it quiverful — whatever — soon.
NOT
Oh, and even though I’m a girl, without the pretty cotton dresses to prove it, I think CZJ is the sexiest woman alive.
LOL.
Actually, I don’t find this stuff; IT find me!
And, Yes. Ladies Against Feminism is a wonderful new find, isn’t it?
And, an award nomination for homeschool hotness? (blushing while ROFL!) Yes, I do try to take care of myself (wink-smile).
Yeah, making fun of these hilarious ideas, without singling out individuals, is a fine line — that I clumsily step over all the time. Like the pony-tail holder worn on the right arm because you never know when you’re gonna need to make a pony-tail – FAST; I could blog on that alone for weeks!
My husband was wondering if the dresses were merely more convenient for, well, you know . . . nooners?
Ah, could it be the secret to keeping a quiverful? — I’m not sure how to spell it either ;)
Well, at least it’s keeping something quivering. :)
you have got to be freakin’ kidding me???!!!! That is hilarious!
Just found your blog and have been enjoying it! I have 2 little ones, 18 and 3 months old and we are considering a 3rd. I am interested in homeschooling from a secular viewpoint. I look forward to researching your links!
Welcome Carla! :)
A lot of us consider homeschooling to a wonderful way of life. The early years are especially fun.
Also, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/secular_homeschoolers/ is a great source of how-to information. (Over 1200 members last I looked.)
Thanks for visiting!
You have a TON of resources that I have only began skimming the surface! It is keeping me quite busy! Thanks for all the info!
